Man Killed in ATV Crash near Oswayo Fish Hatchery
1 min readOSWAYO TWP. – A Lititz, PA man is dead following an ATV crash in a field across from the fish hatchery in Oswayo Township on Saturday.
State Police say 42-year-old Dale Howard Weik, Jr. died after the Polaris Ranger 4×4 he was riding on as a passenger crashed.
Police say the operator of the ATV, 40-year-old Edward W. Lundy, of Oswayo, was transported to CCMH for injuries and later life-flighted to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.
Weik was pronounced dead at the scene by Potter County Coronoer Kevin Dusenbury, II.
Officials say Weik died as the result of major injuries to the head and chest.
An investigation into the crash continues.
