Man Killed in Elk County Plane Crash

BENZETTE TWP. – A man is dead following a plane crash in Benezette Township, Elk County, last night.

Authorities say that just before 6:00 pm, a plane operated by a 60-year-old unidentified pilot from Connecticut crashed in a wooded area, killing the pilot.

Elk County Coroner Lou Radkowski pronounced the man dead at the scene.
