Man Surrenders after Standoff, High Speed Chase which began in Lawrenceville
1 min readLAWRENCEVILLE – An Addison, NY man is behind bars after he allegedly fired a gun during a domestic disturbance and then led police on a high speed chase.
Raymond Enderle, age 57, has been jailed on multiple charges including terroristic threats, burglary, unlawful restraints, recklessly endangering another, fleeing/attempting to elude an officer, harassment and criminal mischief.
Police say the chase and standoff with Enderle began Tuesday morning in Lawrenceville, PA, after Enderle unintentionally fired a handgun during a domestic dispute. Enderle is accused of leading police on a high speed chase into New York before barricading himself inside a Tuscarora home, where a standoff with police ensued.
Authorities say they engaged Enderle in negotiations that lasted approximately four hours before he surrendered around 2:30 pm this afternoon.
Enderle is currently jailed in Steuben County awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
