Marcellus Shale Natural Gas: ‘What’s New? What’s Next?’
1 min readPotter County Today
What have we seen in early development of the Marcellus Shale natural gas industry in Potter County? More importantly, what does the crystal ball reveal for 2011 and beyond?
Those two themes will be the focus of the final Potter County Natural Gas Task Force meeting of the year. It’s scheduled for 7 pm Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Gunzburger Building in Coudersport, and is open to the public.
There will be presentations from the Task Force’s five study committees on issues ranging from water quality and the industry’s impact on township roads, to job training and emergency services. After the review of developments so far and the forecast of what’s to come, the floor will be open for a roundtable discussion.
