2 min readMary M. Glick, 79, formerly of Aiken, passed away, Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 at the Bradford Ecumenical Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 7, 1931, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late Paul P. and Ona (Coder) Pierotti. She was a 1949 graduate of St. Bernard School.
On October 30, 1956 in Bay City, MI she married Jack P. Glick who died on October 30, 1992.
She and her husband owned and operated Glick Service Station in Aiken for many years. She was also employed at Corning Glass and Dale Electronics, retiring 1993, after 20 years of service. After her retirement, she worked as a clerk at Dollar General Store.
She was a member of St. Bernard Church, the Women of the Moose, an avid Buffalo Bills fan, attended three of the four Bills Super Bowls as well as the Pre-Season game against the Eagles in England in 1991. She was also a golfer and traveled extensively with her family.
Surviving are two daughters: Jean (Michael) Luciano of Bradford, and Onie Bridge of Bradford, one son, Charles (Tina) Glick of Aiken, one sister, Ida (Wayne) Anderson of Bradford, two brothers: Robert (Peg Price) Pierotti and William (Judy) Pierotti, both of Aiken, eight grandchildren: Chad Glick, Cody Glick, Christie (Joe) Sherry, Blaire Luciano, Jayme Luciano, Jordan Luciano, Ashley Beckwith, and Tasha Fox, three great grandchildren: Kearstin Sherry, Jack Sherry, and Ethan Burton, and many nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends on Monday December 6, 2010 from 6-8 PM in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. East Main St. where a prayer service will be held at 9:30am on Tuesday December 7, 2010, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Bernard Church, with Rev. Leo Gallina, pastor as celebrant. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Bernard School.
