Meeting Thursday On Highway/Bridge Priorities

Municipal officials and others interested in commenting on highway and bridge repair priorities are encouraged to attend a public meeting Thursday, June 21, at the F. W. Gunzburger Building in Coudersport. The 8:30-10:30 am open house will be held in the auditorium. Those attending are asked to use the Water Street entrance. Priorities established in the long-range regional transportation plan are used when highway repair and bridge rehabilitation or replacement projects are chosen by PennDOT. Competition for limited resources is intense. Township/borough or citizen input is among criteria considered as the regional plan is compiled.
