Minnesota Motorcyclist Killed in Route 6 Crash
1 min readWETMORE TWP. – A Minnesota man is dead following a motorcycle crash in Wetmore Township on Saturday afternoon.
Police say 60-year-old Neil Phillips was traveling east on Route 6 when a turkey flew into his path. Phillips was struck in the head and upper torso by the turkey, which caused him to lose control of his motorcycle.
Police say after losing control he struck a guard rail and was thrown down an embankment.
Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
