Missing Man With Dementia Found Dead

On July 2nd we reported that State Police were searching for Charles J. Speer, 76, of Titusville, PA, who had been missing since June 26, 2010. It was reported at the time that Speer suffered from Dementia, and that he had been left alone in a 1998 Nissan Maxima, which he apparently had driven off in.
On Thursday, October 28 at 9:30 am, Speer’s body was found in the Nissan Maxima along Route 322 in a wooded section of Van, Rockland Township.
An autopsy conducted in Erie confirmed that the remains found were Speer’s.
