Missing Mom and Kids Found Safe
1 min readA Hornell woman and her two children have been found safe in a Scranton hotel.
While police initially believed the children to possibly be in danger, officials have said 27-year-old Alicia Appleton and her children, 8-year-old Alexis Slayton and 6-year-old David Slayton, were found with Eric Trumbull – a family friend.
Police say none of those involved have broken the law, however the matter has been referred to the Steuben County Department of Social Services Child Protective Unit.
Authorities initially believed the children may be in danger, as Appleton checked herself out of a psychiatric hospital, before disappearing with her children.
