WELLSVILLE – According to the Wellsville Daily Reporter, more charges are possible following the fatal accident on Friday that claimed the life of an 11-year-old Rushford girl.
The newspaper reports that Allegany County District Attorney Terrence Parker said charges of Vehicular Homicide have not been filed but are possible, stating that,
At this point she is not charged with that, but that is certainly where we are looking at going”.
According to police, Robin Drouin, 54, of Wellsville, was under the influence of prescription medication when her 2007 Dodge pickup truck slammed into the rear of a minivan that was legally stopped for a school bus.
11-year-old Cheyenne E. Wolfer, of Rushford, was a passenger in the third-row seat of the minivan. She was later pronounced dead at Jones Memorial Hospital after a medicopter that was transporting her to Buffalo Children’s Hospital made a sudden return trip to Wellsville.
Legal drugs are becoming worse than illegal ones.
