Morphine Among Drugs Founds During Recent DUI Checkpoint
1 min readROULETTE – Marijuana, Morphine and related paraphernalia were recently found as the result of a State Police sobriety checkpoint which took place along Route 6 in Roulette Township.
The checkpoint, which was conducted between the evening of February 3 and early morning of February 4, also resulted in one person being charged with DUI. Police said 5 other drivers had been drinking alcoholic beverages prior to driving.
Police said 4 occupants of one vehicle were found to be in possession of marijuana, morphine and related paraphernalia.
Four other drivers were cited for summary violations and 10 drivers received written notices for various violations, according to police.
Police said they stopped a total of 52 vehicles during the checkpoint.
