Motorcyclist Mercy-Flighted after Brizzee Hollow Crash

OSWAYO TWP. – An Oswayo man was taken to Erie County Medical Center after a motorcycle crash on Saturday, August 13.

P0lice say 46-year-old Glenn W. Taft was driving south on Brizzee Hollow Road when he lost control of his 2004 Cheetah motorcycle and struck an embankment along the western edge of the roadway.

Police say Taft, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was thrown from the motorcycle, striking the ground.

Taft was air-lifted by Mercy Flight medical helicopter to ECMC.

Shinglehouse Volunteer Ambulance and Fire Department assisted at the scene.
