Motorists Alerted to New Signage on Route 3006 (Ice Mine Road)

Potter County – PennDOT has placed a new sign on Route 3006 (Ice Mine Road) in Sweden Township, Potter County, near the intersection with Mitchell Hollow Road. The new sign faces westbound traffic on Route 3006 and reads “Stop Except Right Turn.”

Prior to the installation of the new sign, westbound traffic was not required to stop at the intersection. Effective immediately, westbound traffic on Route 3006 is required to come to a stop at the intersection, except for a right turn.

The new sign will be enforceable immediately upon placement. Motorists are reminded to obey all regulatory signs.
