Motorists Stranded for Over 13 Hours on NY Thruway

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Drivers who made the mistake of getting on the Thruway struggled through the night to stay calm and warm, as the lake effect flakes slowly snowed them in.
WBEN radio took calls all morning from angry, stranded motorists.
Motorists were just livid. They couldn’t understand why the Thruway Authority could not seem to get a handle on the situation, after that tractor-trailer jack knifed.
