Naked Man Goes On Shooting Spree In Johnstown

A naked man armed with a shotgun fired numerous shots in Johnstown overnight, leaving some emergency crews and residents fearing for their lives.
William Layton Jr., 31, is accused of firing at least five rounds: four into his own home on Cedar Street and one into Burn’s Photography.
Police said they rushed to the city’s 7th Ward after numerous people called 911 and reported a naked man was walking around Cedar Street firing off a gun.
When police arrived, Layton was on the phone with 911 inside the 7th Ward Ambulance Center. Police found the windows of the center smashed. Police said the scariest part was that Layton was inside a radio room with a 12-gauge shotgun while EMS workers were hiding in another room.
