No Injuries in Rooks Road Crash

ULYSSES – Timothy W. Elwood, 54, of Genesee, PA escaped injury after losing control of his pickup truck on the Rooks Road and crashing into a tree.

The crash happened approximately .2 miles from Route 449 on Saturday, December 17.

Police say Elwood was traveling east when he lost control of his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck on the snow-covered roadway. Elwood attempted to regain control of his truck, but was unable to do so, eventually sliding off the road and striking a tree with the front passenger’s side of the truck.

The collision caused major disabling damage to the truck, according to police.

Elwood was charged for driving too fast for road conditions.
