NWS to Investigate Possible Tornadoes
1 min readSunday night was quite eventful with the storm that moved through northern Potter County and southern Allegany County.
Dispatches were nearly impossible to keep up with as reports of flooding, trees down, telephone poles down, and even buildings down came in from all over.
One report indicated that an actual tornado had touched down on Cramer Road, which is southeast of Whitesville, NY and northeast of North Bingham in PA.
Reports from the NWS showed that the storm exhibited strong rotational activity, indicative of a tornado.
The National Weather Service now plans to send a team to Cattaraugus and Allegany counties to assess the damage and determine whether or not an actual tornado touched down.
Please send us stories and photos of any damage you witness.
