NY Man Charged with Trespassing on Elderly Coudersport Couple’s Property

KEATING TWP. – A Monroe, NY man will be charged with harassment and criminal trespass, after he allegedly failed to exit property belonging to an elderly Coudersport couple, and then threatened another man who was attempting to assist the couple during the incident.

Police say on July 31 at approximately 7:00 pm, 50-year-old David Meyers refused to leave the property of Reynold Dagaro, age 82, and Lillian Dagaro, age 80, of 196 Valley Road in Coudersport.

Police say during the incident 60-year-old Michael Tumas, of Coudersport, provided help to the Dagaros, and was allegedly threatened by Meyers while doing so.

Meyers will be charged with criminal trespass and harassment in District Court 55-3-01.
