Officials Warn of Heat Wave

It’s gonna be Hot, Humid, and Doggone Muggy as can be this week.

While the heat is simply a nuissance for many of us, it can be deadly for elderly people and those with disabilities. Please be sure to check on any elderly or disabled family members during the week.

Believe it or not, heat is responsible for more deaths than all other weather events put together, including floods.
