PA Rare Whiskey Lottery

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hosting a limited-release lottery for rare whiskeys, offering 1,434 bottles from renowned collections. The lottery is open to Pennsylvania residents and licensees, who can opt-in until 5 p.m. on January 16. Participants can enter one or more of the three separate lotteries for the Van Winkle set, Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, and E.H. Taylor.

The Buffalo Trace Antique Collection lottery features 324 bottles, with prices ranging from $149.99 for a 750-milliliter bottle. The Van Winkle lottery includes 1,062 bottles, with prices varying from $129.99 to $449.99 per bottle. The E.H. Taylor lottery offers 48 bottles, priced at $149.99 each. Winners will be selected at random and notified via email.

To participate, individuals must have an active account with FWGS.com and provide a verifiable Pennsylvania billing address. Only one entry per household per drawing is allowed, and duplicative entries will be disqualified. The PLCB reminds participants that the sale of alcoholic beverages without a license is strictly prohibited under Pennsylvania law.

The lottery drawings will be witnessed by an independent third party, and winners will be required to pick up their purchases in person at a designated Fine Wine & Good Spirits location. The PLCB encourages participants to review the lottery terms and conditions before submitting their entries.

This limited-release lottery provides a unique opportunity for whiskey enthusiasts to acquire rare and highly sought-after bottles. With a wide range of prices and options, participants can try their luck at securing a coveted whiskey. The PLCB’s lottery system ensures a fair and random selection process, giving all participants an equal chance to win.
