Passing of Doris E. Watson, 74, of Roulette, PA, formerly of Ulysses

Doris E. Watson, 74, of Roulette, PA, formerly of Ulysses, died Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA.

Born June 17, 1938, in Ulysses, she was the daughter of Leroy F. and Eva Haxton Schoonover.

She was married to Harrry O. Watson, who predeceased her on July 8, 2006.  Doris was a farm worker employed by Harold Sherwood and Melvin Easton.  She was a member of Carl E. Hyde American Legion Post #963 Auxiliary and a social member of the Coudersport Legion.

Surviving are:  a daughter, Janice Beane of Roulette, PA;  two grandsons, Richard R. (Tracy) Ruediger of Roulette and Edward Orlowski of Port Allegany;  four great-grandchildren, Dillon Ruediger, Justine Crum, Logan Orlowski, and Karter Orlowski;  five brothers, LeRoy (Jessie) Schoonover of Eldred, Delbert Schoonover of Bradford, David Schoonover of Bradford, Eddie Reed of Woodhull, NY, and Keith Reed of Bradford;  three sisters, Shirley Sink, Sharon South, and Debbie Kline, all of Bradford;  four step-sons, Henry Watson, Paris Watson, Clair Oliver Hyde, and Sean Watson;  a step-daughter, June Wiley;  nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by infant daughters, Katherine Ruediger and Jean Ruediger;  infant sons, David Ruediger and Raymond Ruediger, Jr.;  a sister, Connie Metcalf;  and a step-daughter, Jane Watson.  Services will be private.
