Passing of Fordyce F. Green, 90, formerly of Genesee, PA

Fordyce F. GREEN, 90, formerly of Genesee, PA, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 in the Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport, PA.

Born June 28, 1922, on Cobb Hill, Allegany Township, PA, he was the son of Erville and Anna Reynolds Green.  On January 7, 1979, in Genesee, he married the former Helen Yeager, who predeceased him on January 14, 2005.  He owned and operated a dairy, beef, and potato farm.  He attended the HUG senior center in Ulysses.

Surviving are:  three nephews, Charles (Carolyn) Hemphill, James (Sherry) Green, and Raymond (Peggy) Green;  a niece, Fredericka (Larry) Fletcher;  several great-nephews and great-nieces  and three step-sons, Clifford (Roxy)Bisnett, Michael Bisnett, and Charles (Paula) Bisnett.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Hemphill;  and five brothers, Clair Green, Richard Green, Gerald W. Green, Francis Sheon, and Charles Sheon.  Friends may call Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM.  His nephew, the Rev. James Green will officiate.

Burial will be in Raymond Cemetery, Allegany Township.  Memorials may be made to the Sweden Valley Manor Activity Fund, 1028 E. Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915.
