1 min readTerry J. WILLIAMS, 71, of Westfield, PA, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 in the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.
Born January 23, 1941, in Harrison Township, PA, he was the son of James Franklin and Reva G. Abbott Williams. On June 27, 1964, in Galeton, PA, he married the former Ruth Ann Yilek, who survives. He was employed by Fontanella Construction, Gross Construction, Mark English Construction, and Rick Mead Construction. Terry was a member of the CV Anglers, the Wildlife Federation, and the Arbor Day Foundation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening, bird watching and observing nature.
Surviving besides his wife, Ruth Ann, are: two daughters, Wendy (Frank) Gallagher of Quakertown, PA and Michele (Robert) Shimmin of Hermitage, PA; his pride and joy grandchildren, Jordan and Kaylin Shimmin; a brother, Richard Williams of Erie, PA; two sisters, Joyce Brown and Sharon Freeborn, both of Harrison Valley; and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook, PA.
