Patriotic Theme For Fall Countywide Senior Luncheon

More than 130 senior citizens from around Potter County attended the Fall Countywide Senior Center Luncheon, held in Ulysses. Regular attendees from the county’s four senior centers and guests enjoyed a fun time.  Northern Potter High School students and Office of Aging staff served the food. Darlene Sitler (left), music teacher from Northern Potter Children’s School, and her students performed selections honoring veterans. Many veterans were in attendance and were given special honor when their branch of the military was spotlighted by the students

Free tetanus, flu and pneumonia shots were given State Health Department and Charles Cole Memorial Hospital.  Valerie Tinder, RN, explained the importance of immunizations. George Morley and his band provided music for listening and dancing pleasure.
