PCVA Announces Conference Calls for Business Owners
1 min readIn conjunction with its annual membership drive, the Potter County Visitors Association (PCVA) is announcing plans to host quarterly conference calls for Potter County business owners. The calls will be toll-free and any business or organization can participate in the calls. The PCVA Board of Directors decided to offer conference calls so businesses can discuss tourism related opportunities and issues from the convenience of the home or office.
“Some business owners have a 45 minute one way drive to attend even a centrally located meeting, “ said Gail Ayers, PCVA President. “Hopefully, with these calls, we can increase the communication between PCVA and its membership, while reducing the travel and out of office time that prevents a lot of business owners from attending meetings in person.”
The first conference call is schedule to take place on September 8, 2011 at 5:30 pm. The agenda will be set in advance and anyone with an item they would like to discuss can have it added to the agenda prior to the meeting date. Anyone interested in participating can contact the PCVA office to obtain the toll-free 800 number and access code.
