PennDOT Maintenance Work Schedule for Potter County

Potter /Cameron PENNDOT, Potter/Cameron County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of July 21 – July 27, weather permitting. 

Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night. 

Potter County 0260:

Sign Crew: 04

• State Route: 4014 (Plank Road) Daylight Signs & Repairs
• State Route: 4023 (Eleven Mile Road) Daylight Signs & Repairs

Bridge Crew: 06

• State Route: 0244, Monday-Tuesday, Guiderail Repair on Bridge
• State Route: 4003, Wednesday-Thursday (Clara Road) Bridge Repair

Pipe Crew: 41

• State Route: 0044, (Oleona) U-Drain Installation

Tail Ditching: 34

• State Route: 1019 (Harrison Valley to Whites Corners) Ditching

East Patching: 42

• Patching in Galeton Area

West Patching: 44

• State Route: 0049, Monday (SR 49- Colesburg Area) Patching
• State Route: 3015, Tuesday (Dutch Hill Area) Drainage Work

General Maintenance: 31

• State Route: 4008 (SR 44 to Ford Hill) Patch Pipe Crossings

Side Dozing: 33

• State Route: 0006, Monday (Sweden Valley) Side Dozing
• State Route: 0044, Tues-Thurs (Sweden Valley to Cherry Springs) Side Dozing
• State Route: 3006, Friday (Ice Mine Road) Side Dozing

Mowing Crew: 30

• State Route: 4021 (Shinglehouse Area) Mowing
• State Route: 4014 (Shinglehouse Area) Mowing

Cameron County 0240:

• State Route: 0155 & 4004, Shoulder Cutting and Side Dozing
• • State Route: 0155 & 4004, Bridge Repair

The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting: 

•  Dolomite: State Route 44, Shinglehouse, Bridge Repair (approx end 7/26) 
• Dolomite: State Route 1016, North Fork, Bridge Repair-detour will begin on June 1^st (approx end 10/08)
•  L.C.Whitford: State Route 49, Harrison TWP, Bridge Deck Replacement, One

Lane Restriction, Temporary Signals in Place

• L.C.Whitford: State Route 49, Mills Village, Bridge Replacement (June-Nov)

• Dolomite: State Route 0006 (Denton Hill Area), Drainage Improvements

• Swank: State Route 144, Galeton, Bridge Repair

State Route 1005, Phoenix Run, Bridge Repair

• I A Construction: State Route 2002 (West Branch) Resurfacing, Road

Closure – Detour in Place (July 9^th thru Mid August)

• Hawbaker: State Route 1005, Monday, Mill and Fill
