PennWatch legislation that calls for creation of an online public database of all state government expenditures was unanimously passed Wednesday by the Pennsylvania House. Prime sponsor Rep. Jim Christiana (R-Beaver) said both taxpayers and lawmakers have waited for a long time for state government to be more forthcoming with financial details on the billions spent annually by the Commonwealth.
