UPDATE (Road Open): Peet Brook Road Closed Due to Live Power Lines Down

UPDATE: At 7:03 pm emergency personnel were back in their quarters.

Officials say high winds were responsible for bringing a tree down on power lines, blocking the road.

Tri-County is reported to still be on the scene.

Coudersport Fire Chief Labar reports the Peet Brook Road is closed due to live power lines down and across the roadway.

Traffic is currently being re-routed.

Tri-County Rural Electric has been notified.

An estimated time frame until the road reopens is unknown at this time.
