Pittsfield Man Dead After Being Struck by Car

Man struck by car while walking along Route 27
A Pittsfield man died after being struck by a car on Route 27 in Warren County this morning at approximately 6:45 am.
Police say Paul Davis, 63, of Pittsfield, PA, was walking on the outside edge of the fog line on the westbound lane of Route 27, when a vehicle operated by James Jewell, 36, of Pittsfield, PA, attempted to pass another vehicle and struck Davis.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation continues. Warren-based police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact them.
