PODCAST: Rep. Baker’s Natural Gas Pipeline Safety Bill Signed into Law

HARRISBURG – Legislation authorizing increased state oversight of natural gas pipelines in Pennsylvania has been signed into law by Gov. Tom Corbett.

Bill sponsor Rep. Matt Baker (R-Bradford & Tioga) said he was pleased that the General Assembly and governor recognized the need for quick action on the law that will improve safety for the many miles of natural gas pipeline being laid to bring new Marcellus Shale gas deposits to market.
