Police Release Details in China Garden Fight

COUDERSPORT – State Police have released details surrounding the altercation at the China Garden restaurant in Coudersport on July 14.

Police say two intoxicated New York men engaged in a mutual near the restaurant at approximately 1:15 am.

Charged in the incident was 18-year-old Devin W. Van Pelt, of Wellsville, NY, and Tyler A. Randolph, of Olean, NY.

Van Pelt was charged with simple assault, prohibited acts – paraphernalia, harassment, disorderly conduct, public drunkeness and underage drinking.

Randolph was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct, public drunkeness and underage drinking.

Both men will face charges in District Court 55-3-01.
