Police Searching for Hit-and-run Driver

COUDERSPORT – Police are searching for the driver of Pontiac Grand Am, which was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident on Vine Street in Coudersport on Friday, October 14.

Police say the driver of the car was turning on to Route 6 from Vine Street when they struck the back tire of a Roadmaster Pedalcycle. The collision knocked the operator of the cycle, 18-year-old Floyd M. Perigo, to the ground.

Perigo suffered moderate injury in the crash according to police.

The driver then allegedly fled the scene of the accident.
