Police Searching for Hit-and-Run Driver

LIBERTY TWP. – State Police are searching for an unknown driver that hit a utility pole on Coleman Mills Road in Liberty Township.

The pole was discovered to be lying in the roadway late last night. Units from the Port Allegany Fire Department responded to a call for wires down at around 10:40 pm last night.

Verizon later fixed the utility pole.

Anyone with information regarding the possible driver or vehicle involved is asked to contact State Police.
