Police Seeking Cop Impersonator in Morris

MORRIS TWP. – State Police in Clearfield County are seeking a man posing as a police officer.

Sometime around 11:30 pm last night, a man driving a red Ford Crown Victoria with blue emergency lights, pulled over a driver on Route 53 near the Morrisdale Dam in Morris Township.

The man, who is described as approximately 6ft. tall, weighing 200lbs. and roughly 30 years old, was wearing a green shirt and green pants.

The fake police officer questioned the man he had stopped about alcohol and drugs, and then searched the man’s vehicle before getting back into his car and driving off.
