Police Seeking Driver in Austin Hit-and-Run

AUSTIN – State Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred on the Cowley Hill Road in Austin on April 17 at 3:00 am.

Police say a vehicle described as a green, or possibly dark grey Ford pickup truck, attempted to turn around by pulling into the yard of the McKeirnan residence. While backing out, the driver struck an SUV at the residence, and then fled the scene east on Cowley Hill Road towards Austin.

Police say the truck involved may have damage to the rear corner bed or possibly the driver’s side rear bumper.
