Possible Tornado Ripped Through Central PA Yesterday
1 min readThe National Weather Service will be investigating the severe storms that wreaked havoc on central Pennsylvania yesterday
It is unclear whether or not an actual tornado was responsible for the downed trees and telephone poles yesterday along Rt. 322 from Derry Township to Campbelltown, but one thing is certain, it was one heck of a storm.
No one was injured, but the storm was responsible for shutting down roadways and knocking out electricity in some areas. It even toppled a building that was in the process of being constructed, and the severe hail damaged some farmers’ crops.
The National Weather Service will visit Campbelltown today to try and determine whether or not it was an actual tornado.
