Potter County Commissioners Adopt Proclamation Encouraging Participation in National Moment of Remembrance on Sunday

Today, the Potter County Commissioners have adopted a Proclamation which joins county and local governments across the country in encouraging local participation in the National Moment of Remembrance on Sunday, September 11, marking the 10^th anniversary of the terrorists’ attack on America.

At 1 pm, the Commissioners encourage all churches to ring their bells and all emergency organizations to sound their sirens as a show of national unity.

A remembrance service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm in Shinglehouse’s Assembly Park, sponsored by the Oswayo Valley Ministerium.
