Potter County Employees Get In Halloween Spirit

Visitors to Potter County offices may be doing a double-take today. Charlotte Dietrich and Deb Ostrom from the Planning Department organized a Halloween Costume Party over the lunch hour and employees in county offices were encouraged to dress for the occasion.
The Voter Registration/Elections due got in on the act, as Sandy Lewis went blue as a Democrat while Clarissa Cormier chose a red Republican motif.
That made “Sarah Palin” feel right at home, as Teri McDowell, a frequent face around the Gunzburger Building as a title searcher, donned the classic attire and brought along baby Trig.
Register and Recorder Gary Kelsey got in on the act, authentic sword and all. Meanwhile, there were witches and wizards, devils and you name it — including Cousin It!.
In the group photo, left to right, are: front — Charlotte Dietrich, Sharon “It” Rawson, Krista Miller and Priscilla Watson; back — Judy Snyder, Linda Gambino, Kathy Majot and Deanna Johnston.
There was also an office decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes during a luncheon at the auditorium of the Gunzburger Building. Guests are welcome (especially those with cameras!)
