Shawn King, 21, was sentenced by Judge Stephen Minor to serve 9 months of probation and pay a fine of $200 for possession of drug paraphernalia(M). He was also ordered to pay a fine of $200 for driving on a suspended license.
King was originally arrested in November of 2010 by Coudersport Boro Police after they responded to Charles Cole Hospital for a reported disturbance. At the time King openly admitted to officer Wentzel that he was carrying a pipe in his pocket.
King was granted ARD in November of 2011, but in May of 2012 it was revoked by Judge John Leete after a motion to hold King in contempt was filed by the District Attorney’s office.
In addition to probation, King was ordered to perform 10 hours of community service and attend a drug and alcohol screening.
