Public Meeting on Pine Creek Management Plan July 16
1 min readHarrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) will host a public meeting on Saturday, July 16, to receive comments on the agency’s draft fisheries management plan for Pine Creek located in Potter, Tioga, Lycoming and Clinton counties.
The meeting will be held on July 16 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Tiadaghton State Forest Office, 10 Lower Pine Bottom Road, Waterville, PA 17776. The meeting is free and the public is encouraged to attend and share their comments with PFBC staff.
“At the meeting, PFBC biologists will describe the history of fish management on Pine Creek, identify the factors affecting the biological health of the creek, prioritize the future needs relative to fisheries management, and discuss the proposed future plans,” said Jason Detar, Area 3 Fisheries Manager. “The public will then have the opportunity to provide brief comments. If they cannot attend the meeting, comments can also be submitted online through our website.”
