Public Meetings Planned By Commissioners On Multiple Issues
1 min readThe Potter County Board of Commissioners has scheduled a series of public meetings for input on a variety of issues. Each of the sessions is scheduled at the F. W. Gunzburger County Office Building, 1 North Main Street.
- On Thursday, Oct. 7, at 11 am, the board will consider public input on the adoption of the following elements to the county’s Comprehensive Plan: the Pennsylvania Wilds Design Guide, the Pennsylvania Wilds Planning Study, and the Northcentral Pa. Greenways Plan. Each of the documents has been the subject of public meetings earlier this year and the Potter County Planning Commission has recommended their adoption.
- On Thursday, Oct. 14, at 6 pm, the commissioners will accept public input on revisions to the Potter County Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance of 1995. The amendments have been approved by the Planning Commission.
- On Monday, Oct. 18, at 6 pm, the commissioners will accept public input on the establishment of salaries for the 2012-15 term of office for the following county offices: sheriff, treasurer, commissioners, register/recorder, prothonotary/clerk of courts, and auditors.
Copies of the proposed Pennsylvania Wilds plans, Greenways plan, and Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance are available at the Potter County Planning Office, 274-8254. The Pennsylvania Wilds Design Guide and the current Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance are also posted on the county’s website, accessible here (click on “Departments” and “Planning”).
