Recent PSP Truck Enforcement Blitz

We previously reported that a Pennsylvania state police enforcement blitz had resulted in some 250 trucks being put out of service.

We have now learned that of the 250 trucks, 131 of them were hauling wastewater from marcellus shale gas drilling sites.

The enforcement effort was named FracNET and resulted in 669 citations and 818 written warnings.
