AFTERNOON...AS A RESULT OF THE LARGE PRESSURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN
STRENGTHENING LOW PRESSURE ALONG THE NEW ENGLAND COAST...AND AN
AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE UPPER GREAT LAKES.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
* TIMING...THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS EVENING.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...25 TO 30 PERCENT.
* TEMPERATURES...RANGING FROM THE MID AND UPPER 50S ACROSS THE
HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTH AND WEST...TO THE LOWER AND MID
60S ELSEWHERE.
* IMPACTS...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR RAPID FIRE SPREAD IF
UNCONTROLLED FIRES DEVELOP.
