Reports of Explosions in Elk County
1 min readAccording to WESB NewsRadio, several reports of explosions near Ridgway, Johnsonburg and Wilcox Sunday night, have yet to be explained.
Residents of those communities reported hearing explosion-like sounds, but State Police have been unable to identify what exactly they heard.
It was initially believed that seismic testing in the area may have been to blame, but according to WESB, National Fuel’s Nancy Taylor says they were never notified of such testing as required by law.
