PA State Trooper Killed in Accident
UNION TOWNSHIP – A DuBois man is dead after a fatal 2-vehicle crash late Friday night in Union Township. State Police in DuBois report that the accident occurred along Interstate 80 westbound around 11:30 p.m. 54-year-old Jefferey Fenton of DuBois was exiting his vehicle which was parked along the side of the interstate. A vehicle operated by a 30-year-old man from Bellefonte failed to see Fenton and struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Fenton was a retired trooper with the Pennsylvania State Police.
