Rifles and Ammo Stolen in Westfield

Trooper Moore of the Mansfield PSP reports that between 4/9-10/12 1430-1600 hours a burglary occurred at the residence of William Schmidt, 65, of California Road,Westfield PA.  Someone entered the unsecured residence and removed a Remington Model 7600 .243 caliber rifle and a Remington .22 caliber rifle along with a box of .243 caliber ammunition.  Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is asked to call the PSP at 570-662-2151.
