Rotary Gives Gift of Time to Local Salvation Army & Christmas House
1 min readThe Coudersport Rotary announced today that $276.99 has been raised locally in support of the Salvation Army & Christmas House over the past 3 days and only 6 hours of ringing holiday bells.
The Club’s goal is to raise $400.00 over the 4-day fund drive which ends tomorrow, according to John Abplanalp, Rotary Holiday Gift Project Chairman. “Our Club members have a lot of fun ringing the bells. In fact, Melissa Gee and Karen Cahilly are having a healthy competition to see if Karen can raise more than the $113.16 that Melissa and Holden Ottolini raised last night,” added John.
According to Mark Benson, Volunteer Coordinator, various Rotary members and community volunteers participated in what turned into a bit of a Salvation Army “fundraising competition” this year, including;
