Rotary Youth Leadership Camp Applications Available

Karen Cahilly, RYLA Chairman of the Coudersport Rotary Club, announced earlier this week that the club is now accepting applications from area Juniors and Seniors for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Camp (“RYLA”).  The RYLA Camp will be held June 10 – 13, 2012 at Juniata College in Huntington, PA.  The Coudersport Rotary Club will select one local student to receive its annual camp scholarship, a value of $350.00

RYLA is a competitive leadership program that consists of a three-day seminar called Camp RYLA where students learn leadership skills by participating in team building exercises and community service and leadership projects.  Last year 66 youth from over 30 communities across Pennsylvania and West Virginia attended the camp.
