Roulette Man Killed in Tractor Trailer Crash

ROULETTE – A Roulette man was fatally injured as the result of a crash at the intersection of Route 6 and Main Street in Roulette Township last night.

State Police in Coudersport say 73-year-old Gordon Daniel Cotter was traveling along Route 6 in a Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck when he collided with the rear of a tractor trailer, which was perpendicular across the road.

Police say the driver of the tractor trailer, Kenneth Hunter Scott, 72, of Chase City, VA, was attempting to turn around in the intersection at the time.

Police say Cotter’s pickup truck suffered severe damage, and was towed from the scene by Kightlinger Motors.

Roulette Fire Department, Medic 6, Port Allegany Fire Department, Coroner Kevin Dusenbury Jr., Kightlinger Motors, Tpr. Mix, Tpr. Surra, and Cpl. Batterson all assisted at the scene.
