Route 6 Traffic Jam in Cameron County
1 min readThe Endeavor News
Traffic was blocked for more than an hour on Rt. 120 just west of Emporium in Cameron County Thursday after a tractor-trailer hauling heavy equipment bottomed out, leaving no room for vehicles to get through.
It occurred at the Moore Hill Road intersection.
Workers tried various measures to dislodge the trailer and finally had the operator drive the excavator off the trailer. The rig was righted on Rt. 120 and the equipment reloaded, but not before traffic backed up for a mile in each direction.
State police from the Denton Hill barracks provided traffic control.
